We are looking for a learning support assistant to start work as soon as possible.

We are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant who:
· Sets high expectations for themselves and their pupils
· Can teach children the skills they need to become independent learners
· Has excellent knowledge of Key Stage 1 and the expectations for learning or a dedication to continue own learning journey
· Be a calm, positive and effective communicator, confident in liaising with all colleagues, children, parents, governors and outside agencies
· Be able to use initiative and thrive through a ‘can do’ approach to solving problems
· Be flexible in the role and tasks undertaken and can work with frequent interruption
· Is a great team player who would really enjoy contributing to the school
· Demonstrates a commitment to pupils' development and pastoral care
· Is able to build strong relationships with children and meet their individual needs

· Salary Details: Scale B: £25,128 FTE £13,581
· Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 20 hours a week, 7-10am - 3-5pm, 52 weeks a year possibility to increase hours and some flexibility with hours

We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic, proactive and friendly person to work alongside our Federation Site Manager. We are looking for someone with a range of practical and DIY skills to join our friendly school and someone who will take a personal pride in the appearance of both the inside of school and the outside grounds.
We are a large junior school with approximately 510 pupils and are very lucky to have large grounds with a variety of areas that need looking after.
We welcome applications from experienced care takers and also from people new to the role who have a commitment to undertake the appropriate training. Full induction will be offered but the successful candidate will be expected to;

Work in a flexible manner for the needs of the children and the school

Take a pride in helping to maintain and develop our school grounds

Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance, decorating, and moving and lifting heavy objects

Ensure health & safety is a priority at all times, carrying out assessments, checks and reports as required, in conjunction with the Headteacher and Health and Safety officer

Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained by undertaking some cleaning duties as well as liaising with an external cleaning company
-
Be responsible for ordering and control of cleaning products, stock control and rotation
-
Be a principal key holder, attending emergency call outs if necessary.

Become a fully integral part of the school community
The role will include some working at heights and moving and handling, appropriate training will be given. This position is a 52 week contract with 24 days paid holiday per year + 5 days Bank holidays.
